The Truth Of My Youth~

CHRISTian poetry ~ by deborah ann

My faith is simple,
I must admit
the truth I seek
within limits.

If in my Bible,
it’s not found
I know it’s not
Gospel sound.

I don’t believe,
all I hear . . .
for the truth
I do revere.

If God’s Word,
is slightly altered
I don’t accept
what is offered.

My faith is simple,
so is the truth
it’s still the same
as in my youth!

Psalm 71:5

“For thou art my hope,
O Lord God: thou art
my trust from my youth.”
