More Like Thee ~

Lord, I know Your thoughts,
supremely outshine mine
for they are always pure
holy and divine.

So, I pray today,
Your thoughts will be . . .
ones that I too can have
so I can be more like Thee.

Lord, I know Your ways,
surpass the ones I choose to
for they always lead
gloriously, straight to You.

So, I pray today,
to Your ways I’ll abide
and to let your Word
for me the path decide.

Lord Your ways and thoughts,
are higher then my own
for they always come . . .
directly from Your throne.

Isaiah 55:8-9

For my thoughts
are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways
my ways, saith the Lord.

For as the heavens are
higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher
than your ways,
and my thoughts than
your thoughts.
