When Grief Takes A Hold ~

CHRISTian poetry ~ by deborah ann

When my grief,
takes a hold of me
when blinded by
all the tears I see.

That’s when I call,
on God’s grace
to shine His glory
on my weeping face.

When my pain,
makes me writhe
and I find it
so hard to breathe.

That’s when I call,
on God’s mercy
to keep my faith
in Him sturdy.

When my grief,
starts to surface
I know for my pain
God has a purpose!

Psalm 34:18

“The Lord is nigh unto them
that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of
a contrite spirit.”
