HE LIFTS US UP: “The Tug-of-War of Life”


I want to share with you a vision that I received as I was reading a posting about forgiveness. It was  a “Tug-of -War of Life”. You see, there are decisions that we have to make in life each day. We have to chose if we want God’s plan, Satan’s plan or somewhere in the middle. It’s our choice. Then as I started writing it, it was all rhyming…so here goes:

“The Tug-of-War of Life”

a game we used to play.
But when we think about it…
we are in a tug-of-war  each day.
Being pulled from side to side…
or yanked from post to post.
Are we keeping our eyes on the Prize…
or just succumbing to past-ghosts.
Do you feel the pull…
choosing from good or bad?
Or maybe your emotions…
going from happy to sad?
What about forgiveness…
choosing to forgive and forget?
Or maybe choosing…
